JJacks' Inspiration Board

It’s been two years since my grandmother passed away.  She was literally the sweetest person you could ever meet.  She never raised her voice and always reached out to those in need.
She was born in the 30s and spent her youth picking cotton until she graduated from school and became a registered nurse.  I always admired the fact that she fought for an education and provided a good life for her children all on her own.
I remember being little and going to her house every day after school.  We would watch Ricki Lake together and I would make her lunch.  When she first got sick, I was hoping that she would be released from the hospital soon and I could take care of her like the old days.  However, she never recovered.
Miss you grandma.
